Ethological Horse Walk

Ajouter aux favoris

Calling all horse and nature lovers — immerse yourself in ethology and experience a powerful, intuitive connection between humans and horses.

Meet frédéric

“My ecological convictions are deeply important to me: our future depends on respecting nature. But to protect what I love, I prefer leading by example and choosing education over confrontation. Sharing the beauty and fragility of our environmental heritage during relaxing stays, and practicing an ethical form of horsemanship that connects humans, horses and nature — this is the mission of the Domaine des Pierres Jumelles.”

Ethical Horsemanship

The Domaine des Pierres Jumelles is an eco‑tourism project designed to showcase the beauty of the natural heritage through ethical horsemanship, offered in the form of horseback rides and trekking experiences.

Its location provides access to an exceptional network of trails, with more than 350 km of marked routes and around forty rolling itineraries to explore.

Just steps away from Montaigu and Mont Rochard, and only two days on horseback from the Alpes Mancelles, the Domaine is nestled in the heart of the Coëvrons, surrounded by bocage countryside, gentle hills, and preserved natural landscapes — a Natura 2000 area..

 An Introduction to Ethology

Your experience begins with an initiation into the human–horse connection through an ethological approach.

You will then prepare your horse before setting off on a route that passes through a variety of landscapes in the Mayenne countryside: forest paths, bocage scenery and traditional sunken lanes.

These rides are accessible to everyone from age 11 and are limited to a maximum of 5 participants to ensure a personal and meaningful experience.
