The 32nd Gorron Contemporary Art Biennial will be presenting almost 200 works, paintings and sculptures by 40 artists.
This 32nd edition, organised by Gorron'Arts, will bring together 40 international artists from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Painting, sculpture and singular artistic approaches will be brought together in a spirit of sharing and discovery.
True to its lively, interactive vocation, the show will also feature demonstrations by artists, inviting the public to get to the heart of the creative process.
The guests of honour, Virginie Matz in painting and Véronique Dumont in sculpture, will bring a strong and inspiring artistic dimension to this year's show.
This year's highlight is the participation of Gorron's primary and secondary schools.
Thanks to a unique project, pupils have been working directly with the exhibiting artists to create works that will be on display in the Espace Colmont hall. It's a remarkable initiative that forges an invaluable link between art and young people, and encourages creative awakening from an early age.
It's a generous and committed show that's well worth discovering.
Free admission
