The Robert Tatin Museum is hosting a temporary exhibition retracing the life of the artist.
With the aim of developing knowledge of Robert Tatin's work, the Département de la Mayenne is launching a series of temporary exhibitions retracing the artist's career in chronological order. For this first part of the series, documents and works from the collections of the departmental museum, the Musée d'Art Naïf et d'Arts Singuliers de la Ville de Laval and private collections evoke the artist's youth and formative years.
Drawings, paintings, ceramics and travel souvenirs trace the encounters and genesis of the young artist from Mayenne, from his first tentative steps to the beginnings of his international career.
