Delphine Noly pays tribute to the Facteur Cheval, an extraordinary poet and builder who devoted 33 years of his life to building his ideal palace.

After Rêve d'air and Rêve de pierres for younger audiences, this third part tells the incredible story of this real-life postman, a lonely and misunderstood dreamer. From 1879 onwards, he built a dream kingdom in his vegetable garden, inspired by nature, postcards and the first illustrated magazines he distributed on his rounds. We embark on a journey through his daily life, his imagination and his determination to shape, stone by stone, his intimate palace which, in a mirror image, invites us in a sensitive and poetic way to reflect on what our world is going through. How can we live differently, listen differently and see differently? Let's delve into our deepest dreams, our own images, to rekindle the fire of the imagination and the freedom to think.
