Sainte-Suzanne: finish of a professional cycling race!
On Thursday 9 April 2026, our municipality will have the honour of being the finishing town for a stage of the professional cycling race organised by the Pays de la Loire Region, in partnership with the Coëvrons Community of Municipalities and the municipality of Sainte Suzanne-et-Chammes.
This third stage will leave from Avrillé (Maine-et-Loire) for Sainte-Suzanne-et-Chammes. After the start in Maine-et-Loire, the riders will discover the more winding and undulating roads of the Mayenne region, with 2,800 m of positive gradient. The final circuit is 16km long, with 300m of ascent per lap. The finish will be at the top of the hill on the route de Saulges, promising a spectacular finale!
Traffic and parking:
Please note: on Thursday 9 April 2026, the entire centre of Sainte-Suzanne will be closed to traffic and parking: Rue de la Libération, Route des Coëvrons and Rue du Camp des Anglais.
