A world first, with collections never seen before...
L'Épopée du 2 Roues is a unique event, taking place from 14 JANUARY to 1 MARCH 2026 from 10am to 6pm at the Espace Saint Fiacre in Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne (53).
The aim of this exhibition is to retrace the fascinating history of the two-wheeler, from its beginnings in 1820 to 1950, staged by Jean-Luc Gaignard and Pégase Evènements.
L'Épopée du 2 Roues covers a variety of immersive themes that trace the evolution of the bicycle and the motorbike, focusing on key moments in their history, such as the first Tour de France in 1903 and the beginnings of the motorbike.
More than 500 two-wheelers illustrate the impact of these inventions on mobility and lifestyles, and add a cultural dimension through the world of cinema.
The exhibition doesn't just focus on the past, but also includes an educational dimension on the current use of bicycles as a solution to environmental challenges and sustainable mobility.
By highlighting the importance of this means of transport, L'Épopée du 2 Roues is part of an educational and responsible approach.
Visits to the exhibition last approximately 1? hours. It is forbidden to take photos inside the exhibition. Catering on site. We offer lunch or dinner shows (cabaret, concerts, musicals, etc.).
