The Ménil ferry, one of the few still in use!
The Ménil ferry crosses the river Mayenne towards the village of Coudray.
In the 19th century, it enabled schoolchildren to cross to the other side of the river.
Recently restored, it provides an opportunity for pedestrians, cyclists, horse riders, motorcyclists and motorists to cross the river in good spirits.
2025 ferry timetable :
Mid-season (mid-April, June and September)
6 crossings: 9.30am, 10.30am, 11.30am and 2.30pm, 4pm, 5.30pm.
High season (05 July to 31 August)
7 crossings: 9.30am, 10.30am, 12pm, and 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 5pm and 6pm.
Open from mid-April to Sunday 28 September.
In the event of bad weather or strong currents, the crossing may be cancelled.
