With L'Arrière-pays, we're embarking on a cross-generational odyssey over several seasons with the artists' collective 3615 Dakota & Les 3 points de suspension.
The four-part series "Être, devenir, avoir été" explores the limits, edges and contours of the construction of our identities by inverting the roles we play throughout our lives.
In this 1st opus, thanks to a magical ritual, 4 adults in search of their ideal age set off on an expedition to the lands of childhood. But, as with any journey, it's a perilous one, because the past has become a foreign land whose language and customs we no longer know. This is a show where roles are reversed to deconstruct and poke fun at our generational assignments. With the help of stuffed animals, giant teddy bears, war paintings and a unique soundtrack, the immersion is absolutely breathtaking. Between 2 laughs, this expedition through our ages, combining theatre, dance and song, is a profoundly atypical adventure.
