La Grande Folie is a powerful hand-to-hand encounter between a dancer and a spinning cape.
Through the figure of the spinning madwoman, the play raises the question of the place of women and their dancing bodies in public spaces. La Grande Folie is a tribute to those who disturb, activate and upset the established order.
This new creation by Cie Brave is part of an artistic residency and cultural action project exploring the links between textile creation and the memory of the region, echoing a cross-fertilisation of textile, feminist and psychiatric heritage.
