As part of the European Heritage Days, discover the skills of craftsmen.
Artists and craftspeople showcase their skills to the public, with demonstrations and exhibitions of objets d'art.
"Practising a craft is above all a matter of passion. It means bringing to life ancestral skills handed down from generation to generation and applying them to the restoration of heritage or developing them through original and varied creations" David Guédon, President of the association.
Whether they are working with leather, wood, stone, clay or textiles, restoring old objects or creating new ones, artists and craftspeople use their hands, their imagination and their experience to pass on their knowledge. They will share their passion with you in the orangery, the Philibert Delorme-style timber-framed barn and the Domaine's barn, all three of which have been restored.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday:
David Guédon: cabinetmaking, creations / Nicolas Guérin, leather / Samuel Geneslay: cabinetmaker / Anne-Marie Hautbois (Tourdemode): milliner and milliner / Anne-Sophie Meignan: mirror-maker, creation of decorative mirrors / Irina Pinçon: textile decoration / Patricia Roux: upholstery / Claire Lutz: bookbinding (leather, enamels ...) / Patrick Mahieux: bookbinding (leather, enamels ...) / Patrick Mahieux: bookbinding (leather, enamels ...)..) / Patrick Mahieux: ceramics / Edith Eyraux: ceramics / Aline Jugé (except Saturday) stone-cutting.
