This medieval-inspired garden, created by the commune's Green Spaces Department, is directly linked to the Château de Lassay, which can be seen in the background, offering a beautiful panoramic view.
The entrance is underlined by a green corridor, which allows you to discover a world divided into four parts.
The green carpet consists of a grassed area surrounded by a granite arena path. A light chestnut pergola structures the space with climbing roses and clematis. A bed of plants known since the Middle Ages (roses, lilies, irises, peonies, etc.) completes the area.
The Simples garden, laid out in a square pattern, is filled with aromatic and medicinal plants (mints, wormwood, thyme, rosemary, oregano, etc.).
There is also a kitchen garden with vegetables of the period (parsnips, horseradish, onions, leeks, cabbage, etc.) and an orchard with trellised fruit trees (apples, pears, vines) and small fruit trees (gooseberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, etc.).
The grove, a garden of Mediterranean shrubs (holm oak, juniper, roses, etc.), leads us to the wash-house and the château pond.
