FORUM MÉTIERS D'ART : CONCOURS RÉGIONAL DES ATELIERS D'ART DE FRANCE

Since 2012, the Ateliers d'Art de France competition has been showcasing the artistic vitality and excellence of craft skills throughout France. For the third time, the Mayenne Communauté Forum Métiers d'Art is hosting and organising the regional Ateliers d'Art de France competition, which will take place on 17 March. Following the competition day, the exhibition will be open to the general public from 18 to 29 March. It will feature not only the pieces selected in the regional competition, but also exceptional works by craftspeople who won prizes the previous year. The exhibition offers visitors the chance to admire some twenty creations that are unique to the region. Visitors will be able to take advantage of guided tours to discover the history of each work, from conception to completion, and to explore rare and often little-known crafts.
