Former guitarist and singer with Rennes hardcore band ABKAHN, who shared the stage with the likes of SLAYER and NOSTROMO, Sylvain JAMAULT is a music junkie, a lover of the jazz-rock concept albums of the 70s and 80s, inspired as much by jazz and prog as by minimal music and classical writing.
MUE will release its first album, Rencontres, in May 2023. Produced by Jefca Musique and published by the Arts Prod label, the album was mixed in Belgium by Stephan KRAEMER (Tiersen, Gojira, etc.).
"Rencontres" is a rich, experimental album with no limits, reflecting their desire to explore.
With 'Labyrinthe', the single from their 2nd album due in 2026, MUE give us a glimpse of their refined, mature songwriting, resolutely turned towards Jazz Rock...
Their relentless rhythms and the counterpoint of their virtuoso melodies, when the piano and vibraphone respond to each other, remind us that Jazz Rock is still evolving, and continues to take us to new sonic horizons.
On stage, these six brilliant musicians are committed, powerful and uncompromising in their artistic approach - a musical slap in the face that leaves no one indifferent.
A sextet to be discovered as a matter of urgency!

The concerts in Meslay-du-Maine will take place at the Salle Socioculturelle,
Opening acts will be jazz workshops from local music schools,
A record fair will be held on Thursday 14 May from 2pm to 6pm in the grounds of Meslay-du-Maine town hall,
All our concerts are free for our audiences aged 0 to 16 (please bring proof of age),
Our audiences aged 16 to 26 have a reduced rate of €13 for each paying concert (Tuesday 27/05, Friday 30/05 and Saturday 31/05 - bring proof of age),
PASS 3 concerts for Saturday 09/05, Tuesday 12/05 and Saturday 16/05: €52 - entitles the holder to a special rate for cinema screenings.
