TARAF AL KASBAH

Claude RENON-LÉVY released his album "TROUPLE" in April 2024. He performs 15 of his own compositions on solo guitar and double bass. He soon felt the need to play his compositions live. So he invited Erwan BOURCIER on accordion, Gor GRIGORYAN on violin, Etienne LAMAISON on clarinet, Stéphane ROBIN on guitar and Nicolas MARCHAND on percussion to join him on double bass. This group of friends will share the adventure, working on and arranging the works. Thus was born LE TARAF AL KASBAH. The repertoire will revolve around compositions by Claude RENON-LÉVY, inspired by oriental music, and by Erwan BOURCIER, more influenced by Balkan music. There will also be a few covers of traditional music from these parts of the world.
LE TARAF AL KASBAH is looking forward to sharing its festive music with you.
The concerts in Meslay-du-Maine will take place at the Salle Socioculturelle,
Opening acts will be jazz workshops from local music schools,
A record fair will be held on Thursday 14 May from 2pm to 6pm in the grounds of Meslay-du-Maine town hall,
All our concerts are free for our audiences aged 0 to 16 (please bring proof of age),
Our audiences aged 16 to 26 have a reduced rate of €13 for each paying concert (Tuesday 27/05, Friday 30/05 and Saturday 31/05 - bring proof of age),
PASS 3 concerts for Saturday 09/05, Tuesday 12/05 and Saturday 16/05: €52 - entitles the holder to a special rate for cinema screenings.
