Le gARage, a creative space, holds an exhibition every weekend in July and August.
Visitors will be immersed in a forest - an experience enjoyed by thousands of spectators - and in an aquatic universe proposed for the first time by Monique Bretéché. Again using recycled elements - springs, glass, metal wire, plastic, wrapping paper - she creates a dreamlike world where light, space and fantasy coexist. You can also immerse yourself in the Grand Truc and admire the tapestry in relief made up of more than 6,000 papers pinned together.
For his part, Jacques Morin presents tales, sound plays and radio chronicles to listen to through headphones. Depending on the weather, visitors can listen in the garden and enjoy home-made sandwiches and even chips!

She works exclusively with recycled materials: springs from box springs and mattresses, plastic caps, pieces of worked glass, metal wire, wrapping paper, etc.
A keen scenographer, she presents her works as installations, using mirrors to create mise en abymes. She is usually accompanied by Jacques Morin for lighting and sound.
Her approach is sensory, personal and committed, with a message of total ecology that her works convey.
"I like to compose from elements I've picked up here and there and assemble them to create a new object that has no practical purpose, a bit like objects taking a holiday...".

> THE FOREST - (2017 - 2023)
An installation made up of columns of upholstery springs on which hang thousands of pieces of glass collected by the sea. It is with these 'scraps' that Monique creates this swirling world in which we can also sit and meditate on Nature and our human impact, which is still devastating today.
The visitor is physically inside the installation, accompanied by the sound of nature.
The composition, which is completely mineral, gives an impression of vegetation. A profound environmental reflection, "The Forest" is both thought-provoking and contemplative.
