Mentioned as far back as the 13th century, Château de l'Aulne-Montgenard, located in Martigné-sur-Mayenne, was the home of a number of prominent families from the Mayenne region.Originally a large dwelling surrounded by a moat with a drawbridge and dovecote, the estate was modified over the years, until the 19th century when a new chapel was added. Accompanied by a guide/lecturer, discover the history and architecture of this château nestling in some twenty hectares of parkland.
