To mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, La Vigie - Mémorial des Déportés de la Mayenne is offering a new series of lectures on the theme of "Saved and Rescuers during the Second World War. History and memory of the Rescue Resistance".
This series of three lectures will be given by Marie-Claude Tourtelier, vice-president of the La Vigie association and a history and geography teacher.
The lectures will take place on Wednesday 5, 12 and 19 November 2025:
- At 2.30pm at the Archives départementales de la Mayenne, 6 Place des Archives, Laval (subject to availability).
- 7.30pm at La Vigie - Mémorial des Déportés de la Mayenne, 23 rue Ambroise de Loré, Mayenne
