As a continuation of the visits and meetings at the Monastère de Bois Salair offered throughout the year, a new lecture will be given entitled "La Belle-Époque de Bois-Salair".
The Bois-Salair estate, with its unusual and unexpected architecture for the region, has long aroused interest and curiosity. Macha, a historian by training and a former teacher, will shed some light on the origins of this site, whose history is only just beginning to be rediscovered.
Already well known among us for the lectures she gave in 2024 on the first eight centuries of Christianity, as well as for her programmes on early Christianity broadcast on Radio Fidélité, Macha holds a Master 2 in History, specialising in research. She is particularly interested in the history of the Church in Antiquity and the Middle Ages.
Practical information:
Date: Saturday 7 February 2026
Time: 3 pm
Duration: 1 hour
Price: €8 - payment on site
Registration required before 5 February
A minimum of 15 people must register to take part in the conference.
