La Vallée du Merdereau, mountain bike trail starting from the FFV Les Perles base at Averton
This loop will give you magnificent views of the localities of "Bouillant" and "Monteuzan" in particular. It follows the river "le Merdereau" for more than a kilometre. Don't miss "La Pyramide", a small obelisk in the forest, "La Prisonnière", a picturesque hamlet in the Merdereau valley, the Col de Saint-Sulpice (246 m), one of only two passes in Mayenne, and the Col des Ruaudières (239 m in Sarthe). For the more experienced, this route has a steep gradient and some technical sections. Not far away, the Perles site invites you to discover landscapes that are sure to surprise you.
