This route takes you from St Pierre Sur Erve to Thorigné. From the outset, enjoy the central street of St Pierre, as far as the medieval pedestrian bridge.
Contemporary works of art will lead the way. You can stop off at a very well-preserved lime kiln with its caretaker's house, a true vestige of a recent history that has shaped the landscape of Mayenne. You will then plunge into the prehistoric canyon of Saulges, with its beautiful viewpoint. Descend a short distance along a steep path. If you're not so sure, you'll have to reduce your pace! If you're more sporty, this is the place to go up and down this section to work on your cardio and steep descent technique. You'll have to watch where you step before you reach the banks of the peaceful Erve to head back to Saint-Pierre-sur-Erve for a beer from local brewer L'éveilleuse!
The signpost presenting the routes and workshops is located in the car park near the path to the Saint-Sylvain chapel. It is 90m from the starting point.
