Film concert as part of the "Monte dans l'Bus" Festival
Pop group Iñigo Montoya creates a sparkling soundtrack to The Little Fugitive, a little-known treasure of American realist cinema from the 1950s that greatly influenced François Truffaut and paved the way for the New Wave.
Brooklyn, early 50s: trapped by a dubious joke played by his older brother, 7-year-old Joey runs away and wanders alone around Coney Island, a vast amusement park by the ocean.
This seed of fiction, the starting point of the film, germinates within an almost documentary material, slices of life captured on the spot and handheld camera.
A pure delight for the whole family, that will melt even the most hardened cowboys.
- Wednesday 4 February at 8.30pm
- All ages 7 and up
- Single ticket price €6
